Senior Town Planner
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an award-winning Planning Consultancy on the hire of a Senior Planner for their office in Crawley.
Our client has secured planning permission for everything from small factory extensions to new hospitals, schools, residential developments and major regeneration projects! The company works with a diverse client base that includes developers, landowners, public sector corporations, governmental departments, local authorities, registered social landlords, international companies and individuals, banks and financial institutions and private companies.
In this role, you will run a variety of projects, liaise with clients and local authorities. As a Senior Planner, you will be expected to lead small to medium projects from inception to completion, attend client meetings, liaise with external consultants and internally and help train junior Planners.
Requirements:
- You must have a good all-round knowledge of the UK planning system and the workings of local government.
- Commensurate planning experience at Planner / Senior Planner level.
- Experience in Local Authorities is preferable.
- MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
- A full UK driving licence is required.
