Senior Tax and Trusts Executive

We are working with a leading independent legal firm in Chichester, West Sussex to recruit a Senior Tax and Trusts Executive to join their busy team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established and highly regarded legal firm in a key role as part of their private client team. This is a stand alone role offering great variety - you will mange your own caseload, carrying out a range of compliance work including personal and trusts tax returns, preparing trust accounts, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients, and providing a range of advisory services. In order to efficiently carry out the role you will need a working knowledge of areas such capital gains, inheritance tax and trusts and estates. You will also need to ensure deadlines are met, and all administration is kept on top of.

About you:

• Probably ATT/CTA/Step qualified, but experience is more important
• Extensive relevant experience in a private client tax role, both compliance and advisory
• Capable of working alone, meeting deadlines and managing own work load
• A strong communicator, with excellent attention to detail
• Looking for a mainly office based role and able to commute to Chichester

There is an excellent salary and benefits on offer. The law firm are based in comfortable, centrally located offices and they offer a friendly and lively working environment. While the role is offering full time hours, but if you are looking for part time work, at least three days per week this will certainly be considered.
