We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Surgical Ward Nurse to join a National Private Hospital Group in their Hospital located in the heart of Oxford. The Hospital covers a broad range of surgical specialties including Paediatrics, Oncology, Interventional Cardiology & Radiology, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Gynaecology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Women & Men's health.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Days, Nights & Weekends.

Senior Surgical Ward Nurse Role:

You will independently deliver quality care to meet your patients health and well being needs. You will provide care that is patient-centred, clinically effective, evidence-based, brand-defining and innovative, delivered with motivation and compassion, in line with organisational, regulatory and governance requirements. To provide day-to-day support and clinical guidance to junior colleagues and students, deputising for clinical leads and routinely taking charge of shifts.

Who are we looking for?

  • Registered Nurse
  • NMC Pin (No Restrictions on Practice)
  • 2 years Surgical Ward experience in NHS or Private Hospital
  • Effective Communication
  • Compassionate Nature and passionate about providing a high standard of care.
