Senior Staff Nurse ICU

NOW recruiting for a brand new 50 bedded, multi speciality Private Hospital in Birmingham .

Full Time Hours (long days, nights and weekends)

Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience with excellent benefits. Ranging: £40,000 to £44,000 per annum.

Role Overview:

As a senior staff nurse you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical leadership, act as a mentor and role model, manage complex patient care, and lead the six-bedded critical care unit in the absence of the Ward Manager. .

Your specialist training should include a Critical Care postgraduate qualification and a minimum of ILS, ideally ALS. You will have extensive experience and evidence of competencies managing level 2 and 3 patients, including Cardiac surgery or Intervention..

Skills and experience:

  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
  • Neuro, Cardiac or General ICU specific skills and experience - previous 3 years’ experience.
  • Leadership
  • Physical examination and clinical assessment
  • Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills, good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Critical Care Course (60 Credits)
