Our client, a global Tech & Science Strategy Group focused on AI, are looking to recruit an experienced Sponsorship Sales Executive to join their growing business. Working on a hybrid basis (remote initially, but expected to be 2/3 days a week in a Central London location by the second half of the year), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!

Our client's mission is to ensure that AI and emerging technology is inclusive, equitable and safe. They bring together the global AI ecosystem (from Enterprise/Big Tech to Start-ups and Investors) and are the world's most active AI community with over 250,000 members. As a business, they have 20+ years' experience in technology and large-scale festival-style summits/events, and are firmly at the forefront of AI innovation. Due to their sustained success/growth, they are now looking to add a number of new faces to the team, including the perfect candidate to work on their Sponsorship Sales operation. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging and sourcing Commercial Partners for the company's world leading summits
- Strategically developing relationships to drive the company's strategy
- Researching and identifying potential sponsors that align with the conference's audience and goals
- Identifying and securing sponsorships, ensuring a diverse mix of sponsors across various industries and levels of investment
- Achieving sponsorship sales targets in alignment with the Summit's financial goals
- Negotiating and managing sponsorship contracts and agreements, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding of deliverables and expectations
- Working closely with marketing and event planning teams to ensure sponsor benefits are effectively communicated and delivered
- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure their continued support and satisfaction

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Significant Sales and Sponsorship Sales Skills (2 years minimum in summit/conference cycles is a must)
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to generate, identify, and qualify sales opportunities and leads
- Ability to create sponsorship opportunities that align with an event's vision and programming
- A track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Genuine desire to earn fantastic money in commission
- Fun, sociable personalty

In addition to a competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:

- Phenomenal commission structure (uncapped, however an expected £90,000 Year One OTE - based on very achievable targets)
- Start-up growth (incredible progression/ability to take on additional tasks/learning if desired)
- Hybrid-working policy (initially fully remote)
