Salary £45K-£55K

Are you an experienced Senior Software Engineer who has LabVIEW skills?  We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Senior Software Engineer role based in Dorchester, Dorset. The role involves architecting and leading the development of high-quality, medium-large-scale control software applications in LabVIEW for integration into electromechanical ultrasonic measurement and test systems.

• Degree qualified in a STEM discipline.
• 3+ years of experience designing medium-large scale applications involving hardware integration in LabVIEW.
• Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA).
• 1+ years of experience working within a scrum framework as part of an agile implementation.
• 1+ years of experience working with source code control, specifically Git.

• Providing mentorship to members of the Software & Systems team to enhance their proficiency in advanced LabVIEW skills.
• Collaborating with internal departments to design and implement software components for advanced in-house systems.
• Writing technical software documentation (e.g. user guides, design documents).
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments in relevant technologies and methodologies.
• Providing technical product support to a diverse global clientele in ultrasound and related fields.
