If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a reputable house-building company as a Senior Site Manager in South West London on a freelance basis.

Position: Senior Site Manager

Location: South West London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site activities and operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify and resolve any potential delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and company standards.
  • Liaise with the project management team, providing updates on project progress and any concerns or challenges.
  • Monitor and control project costs, making sure expenses are in line with the budget.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within the house building industry.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and building regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on-site.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
