The Role:

Our client, a leading Wealth Management firm, is looking for a Senior Risk Reporting Analyst to join their Bristol team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the production of the quarterly risk report for the Risk Committee
  • Produce management information and risk reports in support of the CRO and Head of Risk
  • Drive enhancements into on-going risk reporting
  • Ownership and oversight of the Issue Notification Process
  • Review all issues raised and escalate significant issues and follow up with the business where needed
  • Provide support and input into the development of a new issue management system
  • Lead the Risk Champion network to provide guidance and relevant training to support the risk management activities and to improve the risk culture within the 1st line
  • Work with Group Risk and HR to provide relevant risk induction training to new starters
  • Support Operational Risk Assessments and roll out of the risk management system, including training and guidance to the business
  • Support the Head of Risk and the CRO in the production of the ICARA and overseeing regulatory risk

Your Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of first or second line risk management activity, preferably within investment management / financial services
  • Good reporting writing and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of IT systems and platforms
  • Self-starter, able to work independently without supervision at times
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
