Senior Quantity Surveyor - Fantastic opportunity - A MUST READ!

A rare opportunity has arisen with a leading build contractor. Our client has a fantastic reputation on a national basis and has a really exciting order book for the year ahead.

They have recently secured multiple build projects in the Northwest region. As part of their exciting growth and continued success, they are now currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join this growing division and team!

You will:

  • Have full exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery.
  • Work alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
  • Be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Be working on projects that can range in value from £10M - £80M across various sectors.

This major contractor is looking for:

  • Experience working on large 2 stage bids.
  • Expert Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Knowledge of procurement and sub contractor management.
  • The ability to create accurate commercial reports.
  • Experience working for a tier 1 contractor.
