Senior Property Lawyer – Hybrid – 3 months – competitive hourly rates

Venn Group’s legal team are working with a reputable local authority based in the South East is looking for a Senior Property Lawyer to join the team.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or a Fellow of CILEX, who has dealt with a number of property work and portfolios.

Duration: 3 months (potential to extent)

Working arrangement: 1-2 weekly office attendance

Working Pattern: Full time

Hourly Rate: Competitive Hourly Rate

Duties shall include:

  1. Ensuring that legal advice and assistance is provided efficiently and expeditiously both personally and by other staff within the Team. Manage and co-ordinate the work of staff and provide advice, guidance and direction as necessary.
  1. Deputise for the Principal Lawyer as required
  1. Manage a group of staff within the Team on a day to day basis, as required by the Principal Lawyer
  1. Undertake as required (and in particular in any major work area allocated), a personal caseload of the more complex property advice, and agreement preparation work
  1. Deal with the preparation of complex or unique forms of contract, specialised agreements, advise on any matters of property law and prepare other complex or unusual documentation as above.
  1. To work flexibly as part of the Property Team and be willing to offer support and assistance to other lawyers in the wider Legal team as required.
