We have received a new and exciting vacancy for Senior Pensions Data Consultants - Remote working - Salary 50-80k

Role You will lead on the creation and implementation of a clients' data management plan by working closely with the Client Relationship Managers to ensure that clients have an effective and appropriate Data Strategy underpinned by robust Data Management and Data Improvement plans which meet the clients strategic objectives.

The role will suit candidates with previous experience in leading pensions data projects, with a good understanding of the legislative and governance requirements for Pensions scheme data and how data quality can improve outcomes for both members and trustees/scheme managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on the importance of data quality in terms of meeting their regulatory requirements and how data quality can improve member outcomes, reduce risk and lead to administrative efficiency.
  • Work with the head of Pensions Data Strategy to develop client centric market leading data quality reporting, Data Management and Data Improvements plans.
  • Lead, create, implement, and maintain client specific Data Management plans.
  • Work with the delivery teams to identify any areas of improvement required to a client's data quality and ensure they are captured in a robust Data Improvement Plan.
  • Advise and support clients in identifying solutions to improve the quality of their data and recommending the appropriate Data Solutions products and services to deliver that improvement.

Key Tasks

  • Act as the Client Facing representative and lead on Data Solutions projects.
  • Attending meetings with Pensions Managers, Trustee Boards, and other key client contacts to support the CRM's.
  • Own and develop client specific Data Management Plans in accordance with the Clients Data Strategy.
  • Maintain and update clients Data Management and Data Improvement plans.
  • Ensure all new data project works is clearly understood, requirements documented, and project scope agreed both with the client and communicated to the delivery teams.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • In-Depth knowledge of UK Pension Schemes: Private Sector DB arrangements, including pension scheme data requirements or DC Pensions.
  • Experience of delivering data pensions projects such as cleansing pension scheme data GMP
  • Strong Client relationship skills and is able to build increased knowledge of the clients under their remit and actively seeks to gain knowledge of other clients
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Pensions regulations and Policies that our business is managed by including GDPR, FCA and ISO
  • Applying statistical and/or logical techniques to evaluate data and inform conclusions.
