Senior Payroll Advisor - £50,000 + Bonus & Amazing Benefits - Birmingham

Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name within financial services on the recruitment of a Senior Payroll Advisor to join the business on a permanent basis.

Our client is offer hybrid working (1 day per week required into the office)

The Role:

Payroll:

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for UK and Ireland, ensuring accurate and timely payment of all employees.
  • Maintain relationships with payroll third-party suppliers across relevant locations.
  • Provide backup support for US and CAD payrolls.
  • Assist in global payroll processing for additional countries as the company expands.
  • Stay informed about legislative and tax changes, implementing best practices for compliance.
  • Keep payroll systems updated with employee changes, including new hires, terminations, and bank details.
  • Assist with secondee data management and changes.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc management information and payroll reports.
  • Provide support to employees for payroll and benefits inquiries through the Culture & People inbox.
  • Assist with annual processes such as P60, P11D, and other required filings.
  • Process Earlier Year Updates (EYUs) and ensure timely submission and payments.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll audits, Operational Resilience, and other related tasks.
  • Investigate and process payroll invoices and reports.
  • Support the internal Employment Tax Manager with HMRC queries and reconciliations.

Benefits:

  • Coordinate with the internal global benefits manager for payrolled benefit changes, updates, and life events.
  • Process monthly Darwin reimbursements through payroll and assist the benefits manager with related inquiries.
  • Manage leaves and absences (Maternity, Paternity, Shared Parental, Sick, Adoption) from a payroll perspective.
  • Support annual enrollment payroll changes in collaboration with the Benefits Manager.

Skills required:

  • Strong inhouse UK payroll exposure.
  • Strong excel knowledge
