Senior Order to Cash (OTC) Manager, Watford, Hertfordshire
£50- £55kpa plus benefits, 12-15 Months Contract
This management role will motivate and lead the Order To Cash team, maintaining high standards, to ensure the business is compliant in meeting its financial obligations. Also, a high priority is to optimise working capital by providing visibility of forecast receipts, expected credit loss and exposure to other trading risks.
Key Responsibilities:-
* Accountable for ongoing review of current processes & procedures.
* Devise and implement solutions that support business growth and improve the cash conversion cycle while also ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Implementing best-in-class technology solutions to streamline credit and collection processes (e.g., posting & applying collected cash).
* Devise high standard collections strategy, both B2C & B2B.
* Utilise best practice in terms of "first contact" tactics for debt chase.
* Partner closely with cross-functional internal teams and business process owners to ensure clear and business-like communication as well as developing best business practices & procedures.
* Define lean and standard first line credit control - ensuring in line both with clinical and operational strategies.
* Develop performance metrics and reporting that provide an accurate representation of how the credit and collections team is performing against collections, ageing, and credit risk targets.
* Set goals and objectives for the credit and collections team that align with broader Finance organisation goals and ensure that these goals and objectives are met.
The successful candidate will have previous Finance Operations / Transaction Processing experience at a supervisory/managerial level of a large team. Experience of OTC Operations, Master Data management, housekeeping and governance processes would also be beneficial.
This is a contract based position for circa 12-15months.
