Senior Nurse Prescriber

Our Client is an award-winning private GP service covering The Cotswolds and surrounding areas. They provide comprehensive medical services at home to their registered members. The Practice has been operating for over 10 years and provides a secure, rewarding, and enjoyable career option for medical professionals looking for viable long-term alternatives outside of the NHS. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Nurse Prescriber to join their expanding team.

The Senior Nurse Prescriber will be working within a supportive team with great flexibility and a great work life balance. You will have the opportunity to develop in the ever-growing private sector by delivering excellent clinical care.

Role duties

  • Routine nursing services
  • Assessment and triaging of acute illness, to establish a diagnosis and ongoing management plan
  • Prescribing medication appropriate to the clinical conditions
  • Work closely within a team of doctors in assessing, managing and supporting complex medical cases

Role Attributes

  • Excellent Clinical Skills
  • Able to work without direct supervision to manage time and workload
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with patient members and professional services
  • Have a superb bedside manner
  • Be a Team player

Requirements

  • NMC registration
  • Hold a Nurse Prescriber qualification
  • Able to travel and hold a clean driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Be able to work independently
