I am working with a client within the digital marketing agency industry, who are seeking a new Senior Marketing Manager to join the business.

Full time, permanent

£50,000-£60,000

Location - York, hybrid working (2 days office based)

As senior marketing manager you will help set the direction and priorities for how we proactively engage with their clients, the media, partners, and future talent, through brand narratives. As part of the wider growth team you will build awareness of SA by developing and executing marketing strategies to increase profile, lead generation and maximise profits.

You will be responsible for the full external marketing mix for the consultancy; planning and overseeing activities including go-to-market launches, digital marketing campaigns, events, thought-leadership, awards, and social media presence.

You will be a confident team player who is able to work with senior colleagues and leaders to help develop marketing opportunities that are right for the business, you will also be responsible developing a proactive and strategic media relations strategy to articulate the SA story, increasing both awareness and reputation of our work.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the full external marketing mix for the consultancy, building awareness by developing and executing on marketing strategies to increase the client base through lead generation and reputational
  • Devise and create a clear content strategy and calendar of events which supports their brand narrative
  • Manage the marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI from all marketing activity.
  • Manage, maintain, and provide analytics for all social media
  • Work with the head of business development to support with sales collateral, events and targeted campaigns
  • Communicates the business's Employee Value Proposition externally to ensure talent attraction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the any external third-party PR or lead generation agencies ensuring activities and objectivesalign with their Brand narrative
  • Manages the Website CRM, providing maintenance and analytics and recommending
  • Source, build and promote case studies from completed work and coordinate relevant award entries
  • Build relationships with external publications, pitching and delivering contentto proactively engage with press.
  • Devise and organise webinars and podcasts, including topic generation, promotion and supporting content post-
  • Support, promote and distribute thought leadership guides and
  • Line management of a marketing executive responsible for admin tasks such as database management, maintaining events calendar, updating collateral, etc
  • Maintain a clear understanding and appreciation of what we do as an employee engagement consultancy including all aspects of our offering focused around the three key areas of Culture and Insights, People and Change, and IC and Employee Engagement.

Ideally you'll have a minimum of three years' experience in a marketing manager role and have experience managing teams. Alongside a strong understanding of social media and CMS platforms and are proficient with Office365 tools.

Experience in B2B marketing such as developing comprehensive lead generation strategies, implementing effective product positioning, and messaging, and driving successful go-to-market campaigns tailored to industry-specific needs is desirable.

An understanding of internal communications and HR industry would be an advantage but not essential.
