Job Title: Senior IT Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee IT operations and procedures, ensuring alignment with IT policies.

Maintain smooth running of IT services and network maintenance.

Keep IT Disaster Recovery policy updated and comprehensive.

Ensure network and desktop security.

Supervise infrastructure systems management and hardware.

Oversee IT systems operations including servers, backups, network, UPS, and live systems.

Train staff in IT knowledge.

Plan for IT systems based on departmental demands.

Supervise computer and telecommunications systems security.

Formulate disaster recovery plans and conduct tests.

Liaise with Data Centre regarding IT Systems and prepare reports.

Maintain a secure and stable IT network and systems.

Skills Required:

Minimum 5 years experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (2019/2012 Server/Win10).

Knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, AD, RDS, DFS).

Experience with Systems Virtualisation (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V).

Familiarity with Backup technologies (Veeam, Backup Exec, System Recovery, Endpoint Protection, LTO).

Ability to maintain and troubleshoot server hardware.

Experience with hardware firewalls and router configuration.

Knowledge of Switching (HP, Cisco, Juniper).

Experience with system and network monitoring.

Language:

Proficiency in English & Chinese (Mandarin) - both oral and written.
