The Role:

Join the People & Culture team at Norton Rose Fulbright as a Workday - Senior HR Systems Analyst in our Newcastle Office (Hybrid), where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our Workday platform to support our EMEA region. Reporting to the Senior HR Systems Manager, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure the effective utilization of Workday across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with People and Culture teams to gather and define requirements, offering recommendations through a consultative approach.
  • Oversee the change request process in accordance with internal governance procedures. Document changes, design, test and implement solutions and ensure ease of adoption.
  • Work with People and Culture Project teams as and when required to provide input and assistance in various aspects of project portfolios.
  • Support with an audit of Workday’s current setup, structure and data and provide input on clean-up and best practice.
  • Communicate changes, update work instructions and produce guidance documentation.
  • Triage, diagnose, and assign/resolve issues originating from end-users and business process events.
  • Troubleshoot system integration issues, work closely with IT to support new integrations.
  • Support general maintenance and configuration across multiple Workday modules.
  • Support training and engagement to ensure our key stakeholders are fully utilizing Workday.
  • Support mass data requests using EIBs to create efficiencies for cyclical system updates throughout the year.
  • Proactively monitor new features released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans. Create, review and participate in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance—including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.
  • Proactively upskill the HRIS team through ad hoc, informal training on various aspects of Workday.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5+ years hands-on technical Workday experience, including configuration of Core HCM and at least one other module (Integrations, Recruitment, Absence, Advanced Compensation or Talent and Performance).
  • Previous exposure to Workday optimisation or implementation projects.
  • Have a keen eye for detail during configuration and testing activity.
  • Be improvement oriented.
  • An understanding of Workday integrations would be preferred.
  • Workday HCM certification or Pro accreditation will be an advantage.
  • Able to multi-task, manage work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines.
  • Discrete, maintaining confidentiality of data and departmental security.
  • Keen to work collaboratively and be an active team member.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to research solutions with minimal guidance.
