Role: Senior Finance Officer

Type: Interim 6 months

Salary: £150 to £180 per day

Fully Remote

Location: West Midlands

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer for our Local Authority client.

To take the lead in managing the Pension Fund's financial accounting and administration. To assist with all aspects of financial administration for the Treasury Management service.

Key responsibilities and experience for the Senior Finance Officerare;

  • LGPS Pension knowledge/experience
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring the Pension Fund ledger
  • To provide support to the Treasury Management/Banking function
  • AAT Qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Public Sector experience
  • Stakeholder Management experience
  • Experience in a Financial Systems
  • Bank Reconciliations and Journals
  • Credit notes
  • Debit notes
  • Proactive self-starter who can hit the ground running.
