Senior Finance Business Partner | Leicestershire| £64,000


Macildowie are delighted to be partnering exclusively with East Midlands Housing (EMH) Group who are a social housing organisation, looking to appoint a new Senior Finance Business Partner to strategically support the organisation.

EMH are a £130m turnover social housing organisation with over 22,000 homes and specialisms in developing homes for rural communities and in providing housing, care and support to people with learning disabilities and in later life. They work in more than 45 local authority areas and the finance team is based in a modern office in Coalville, LE67 4JP.

It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental part in both leading and helping deliver changes and projects, which will significantly impact the wider organisation.

Prior not for profit experience or social housing experience is not a requirement and they would welcome purely private sector experienced individuals.

Senior Finance Business Partner Responsibilities

  • To lead, motivate and manage a team of 5 (including two fully qualified Finance Business Partners)
  • Leading on budgeting and forecasting processes
    Business partnering with Directors and senior stakeholders across all departments
    To ensure that financial performance is correctly reported, analysed and communicated to stakeholders across EMH and associated companies
  • To prepare and present reports to the Boards and Committees of Group and associated companies
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects to support the continuous review and improvement of working practices and processes within the finance department


This role will give you the opportunity to develop and support a team, work across various different departments and work at a senior level alongside Directors in the organisation.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of line management experience of medium-sized teams including PDP's, 1-to-1's, recruitment and performance management
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong demonstrable business partnering experience with a track record working with senior level stakeholders for multiple years with the interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and challenge tactfully when required
  • Depth of budgeting and management accounting experience for medium to large sized organisations
