City & Capital are currently representing a highly respected & fast growing lender of specialist property finance who have retained our services with a view to appointing a confident & highly organised Senior Team Assistant to their growing loan & investment management department, at an exciting time.

Our client is renowned within their sector for supporting property developers and investors with access to funds for key property projects. Our client offers a broad range of solutions for bridging finance, buy to let, development exit & commercial mortgages & have doubled the size of their UK operation 5 times in the last 5 years.

This growth is set to continue, driven by increased investment and ambitions to be the leading player in their sector. Due to the ongoing expansion they require a proactive & experienced Team Assistant who will play a key role in supporting the departments senior manager, as well as being the glue that binds the team together on activity, priorities and delivery.

The role will be diverse and fast paced, driven by the various aspects of the position and the nature of our clients borrower requirements. You will expect to undertake traditional EA duties on behalf of the Head of the Division, such as diary management, travel booking, minutes and e mail management. In addition you will support the organisation and delivery of the team, by ensuring that they are aware of key priorities and deadlines and wherever necessary, by assisting with activity that allows the business to achieve its objectives.

This role would suit an individual who is at their best when spinning multiple plates, driving others forward on a journey with them and who thrives when achieving high standards and key deadlines.

Duties Include (but may not be limited to):

  • · E Mail inbox management / E Mail drafting
  • · Proof reading documents and reports
  • · Departmental administration
  • · Diary planning and management
  • · Travel bookings and arrangements
  • · Meeting bookings and attendance
  • · Agenda setting, meeting minutes
  • · Preparing presentations and reports
  • · Maintaining monthly payment schedules
  • · Liaising with external business partners/clients
  • · Assistance with compliance matters
  • · Assistance with loan documentation
  • · Assistance with team activity and the attainment of deadlines
  • · Escalate any problems or opportunities to head of department
  • · Assist with team resource and activity planning
  • · Support team activity to achieve required outcomes and deadlines

The Ideal Individual Will…

  • Be an experienced EA/PA or Team Assistant
  • Demonstrate experience in either the financial or professional services sector
  • Be highly organised & capable of managing projects simultaneously
  • Be am exceptional communicator in all forms and to all levels
  • Be highly proficient in setting agendas, taking minutes & managing e mails
  • Be proactive in your approach, quick to spot & address actions
  • Have an excellent attention to detail
  • Be ambitious and keen to progress their careers within

The team are highly collaborative in style with each current team member happy to roll up their sleeves and to tackle any task that supports the growing needs of the business. To assist them, you will be happy to tackle a broad range of departmental administration, organisation and daily activity.

Our client is ideally looking to pay up to c£60k for the ideal individual, though higher offers could be considered for exceptional experience or talent. Salary will be complemented by access to our clients favourable bonus scheme, that can assist with increasing annual earnings significantly too.

Please note that, due to the requirement to be with the team each day to best perform in this role, it will be based in our clients plush Mayfair offices, Monday - Friday.
