JOB – Senior Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION – London
TERM - Permanent 
SALARY – circa £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

A London based Renewables company are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 
  • 2 years’ minimum experience designing electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area regulations/ qualifications such as ATEX.
  • Previous experience with single phase & 3 phase systems.
  • Proficiency with design packages such as Solidworks & AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Advanced programming languages such as C++ & Python (not essential)

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:
  • The design & installation of electrical systems.
  • Creation of testing documentation, BOMs, schematics, technical drawings & manuals etc.
  • Verification & validation testing.
  • The leading of safety assessments such as HAZOPs.
