Senior Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer

As a Senior Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for conceptual design and flow-down of work packages and successful product realisation. You will also be providing technical support and training to less senior EE engineers, acting in the capacity of a technical engineer on projects, this will include generating electrical and electronic design specifications for team members.

In your first few weeks in this Senior Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Generate electrical and electronic design specifications for team members
• Prepare cost estimates for quotes
• Communicate with customers and other project engineers to clarify requirements
• Identify and support timely development of 'fit for purpose' electrical drawings and electronic documentation
• Research and source specific items when required.

To apply for this Senior Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer role, you will need a formal engineering qualification in electronic and electrical design and at least 5 years of industry-related experience in electrical engineering at the design and implementation level. You will also require the following:

• Experience designing test equipment
• Experience designing analogue and digital interface circuits
• The ability to anticipate and solve problems
• Ability to produce wiring schedules and schematics that support efficient manufacture.
