Senior Ecologist

  • Location: Godalming, Surrey, GU7
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Salary Range: Senior Ecologist £30K-£40K

A multi-disciplinary CIEEM Registered Practice, is seeking Ecologists and Senior Ecologists to join our skilled team. With a diverse range of specialisms, offering a dynamic work environment and are committed to employee development and well-being.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Conduct ecological surveys and assessments, with opportunities to work on a variety of projects.
  • Prepare reports and ecological impact assessments for clients.
  • Engage in fieldwork across different habitats, working with protected species.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to deliver high-quality ecological consultancy services.
  • Participate in company activity days and contribute to a positive work culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in ecological consultancy.
  • Experience in the housing sector and Biodiversity Net Gain is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous professional development.
