Description

• Provide expert advice on data protection matters to a vast range of clients across multiple jurisdictions
• Develop and implement data protection strategies for clients and stakeholders
• Support in supervising and managing the wider team
• Liaise directly with fee-earners across departments and jurisdictions
• Build robust client relationships, taking initiative with business development
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations
• Prepare regular reports on the firm's data protection activities
• Act as a point of contact for data protection enquiries

Profile

A successful Senior Data Protection Advisor should have:

• Proven experience in a similar role, advising a wide range of clients on data protection compliance
• A CIPP/E qualification
• A degree in Law, Business, IT or related field
• Extensive knowledge of data protection laws and regulations in the UK and Europe
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
