Senior Corporate, Energy & Infrastructure Associate
One of the world’s leading law firms are looking for a Senior Associate to join their corporate energy & infrastructure team in London..
The firm act for both financial and industry parties on M&A, other corporate transactions and complex commercial transactions. Also, for project procurers, developers and lenders on the development of power/infrastructure assets.
The Opportunity:
- The firm are interested in considering candidates with solid experience of some or all of: private M&A; other corporate transactions such as joint ventures; complex commercial contracts; project development; public-private partnerships and utility sector regulation.
- It is not necessary for that experience to have been in the power and/or infrastructure sectors, though such experience would be a bonus, and an interest in working in those sectors is important.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- 5 years + PQE
- Excellent academics
- Demonstrable experience of corporate/commercial transactions and/or projects and working with clients
- Aptitude to work on large, high profile and technically complicated transactions
- Experience or a strong interest in the power and/or infrastructure sector
