  • Deliver Azure cloud-based resources, solutions and services for systems within ICT deployed globally
  • Support continuous improvement of cloud technologies including automation, IaaC and Security by Design
  • Assist on developing Security standards and policy implementations
  • Day to day handling of requests, covering system administration, operations governance, threat/vulnerability management and incident response
  • Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
  • Provide insight and actions on Cost Efficiency within Azure.
  • Demonstrable in-depth experience of designing, supporting, securing and building Azure cloud solutions
  • Experience with a DevSecOps concept in a cloud environment
  • Experience of Host, Network and Permitted Security design and implementation.
  • Have a working knowledge of Identify and Access Management within Azure.
  • Familiar with Pulumi, ARM templates or other Infrastructure as Code technologies 
  • Advantageous to be experienced in automation or scripting e.g. PowerShell or similar
  • Good documentation and communication skills · Understanding of Architecture principles including gathering of Functional and Non Functional requirements.
  • Azure Certifications including AZ400/AZ104/AZ305/AZ500


  • Other highly desirable, but not essential skills are: 
  • Knowledge of Puppet, Wiz, GitHub and Azure DevOps 
  • Experience in AWS 
  • Experience with IaaC utilizing C# 
  • Experience of a security operations function within a complex environment 
  • A good grasp on cybersecurity standards and frameworks e.g. ISO27001, NIST, CIS, OWASP, SOC2 
  • General knowledge of the Insurance Industry 
  • Degree-educated with Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant discipline
