Your new company
Working for a public healthcare organisation to support the National Purchasing Manager - Operations in ensuring that customer departments receive the goods and services they require, as and when they are required, whilst ensuring that all Purchase Order raised represent the best value for money and comply with company's policy, public sector regulations and quality directives. Including carrying out tender activities and contract management.
Your new role
- Work with members of the team and key stakeholders to investigate the causes of any variance from plan/delivery targets and contribute to the implementation of contracts.
- Responsible for the delivery of tenders and resulting contracts on behalf of the internal customers in compliance with public contract regulations 2015.
- Recommend actions to achieve value for money and efficiency.
- Assist with the collation of all pricing and savings information, to produce a quarterly report on savings
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally, CIPS or working towards
- Previous buying experience in a public sector organisation
- Beneficial if you understand PCR2015 and able to operate within directives
- Must be able to get to Bristol for business needs, minimum of once per week
