Senior Broker Support Technician

Your new employer is an independent, Lloyds broker with branch offices around the world allowing for a genuine global reach. This role will sit within the International Cyber, Media and Technology Risks division.

The successful Senior Technician will become a key member of the team, providing a broad range of technical support functions which will allow for the effective placement and servicing of client accounts.

Role overview:

Responsible for producing and processing pre-inception and post-placement documentation, processing premium, credit control, file and record management.

Main Duties:

• Timely and accurate production of: Evidence of Covers/Market Reform Contracts, Addenda/Market Reform Contract Endorsements, Debit Notes/Credit Notes and Endorsements.
• Produces evidence of insurance/certificates/Letters of Undertaking for third parties on clients' instructions, as necessary.
• Reviews documents at key stages to ensure accuracy and completeness for subsequent processing.
• Premium Processing - original, additional/return premiums and any other associated transactions, as necessary.
• Generates the correct market closing documentation and submits premium to the company market and the bureaux.
• Credit Control - monitor PPW's and work with clients to ensure timely settlement of due funds.
• Uploading risks on PPL, where required.

Skills Required:

• Experience in a similar broker support / technician role within the Lloyd's market.
• Exposure to Cyber risks is ideal but general casualty is satisfactory.
• familiarity with Xchanging procedures.

• Salary to £45,000 to £65,000 (depending on level of experience)
