Senior Associate – Family

A fantastic opportunity awaits a Senior Associate to join an esteemed family law team which is one of the largest in Gloucestershire with an excellent reputation and high quality work.

The family team boasts a wealth of knowledge, providing expert, insightful, and jargon-free legal advice on various family law matters, including Child Arrangements Orders, Divorce, Matrimonial Finance, Post Nuptial Arrangements, and Cohabitation Disputes, servicing clients locally as well as in London and the Southeast.

We are seeking applications from individuals who have forged a solid foundation in private practice and are eager to advance their career. This exciting role presents a path to Directorship for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the team, contributing to its growth and success. You will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, providing strategic advice and solutions tailored to clients' unique situations.

In addition to overseeing cases, you will actively participate in the training and development of junior colleagues. Collaboration with team members and other departments within the organization will be integral to fostering a friendly, supportive, and sociable work environment.

About You
  • Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in family law
  • 10-12 years PQE + (open to applicants with varying experience levels)
  • Proven track record in handling complex family law matters
  • Desire and skill to undertake own advocacy
  • Leadership and mentoring skills are desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good business acumen for business development and networking, with an established network of contacts/client following
  • Strong commercial awareness
