Totum Partners are collaborating with a leading law firm to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk for a 9-month FTC. You'll be part of a small team responsible for Accounts Payable tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Lead all Accounts Payable tasks

- Maintain high accuracy in data entry

- Prepare BACS runs for approval

- Process monthly expense payments

- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers

- Regularly reconcile supplier statements

- Coordinate with credit controller for offsets and refunds

- Maintain accurate supplier details

- Supervise Accounts Payable Assistant

- Assist team during busy periods

- Handle ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

- Experience in full-function Accounts Payable duties in a legal firm

- Experience in multi-currency environments

- Working knowledge of Excel

- Understanding of basic accounting and solid financial controls

- Organised and methodical work approach

- Ability to prioritise work

- Team player

- Work quickly and accurately under pressure
