You’ll be joining a well established accountancy practice during an exciting period of growth that is set to continue. You’ll be an experienced accountant with at least four year's experience within an accountancy practice or qualified by experience. ACCA/ACA training can be provided.
Eager to hit the ground running within this Senior Accountant role, you’ll have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, and you’ll be eager to support a diverse client portfolio by providing the highest standard of service.
This Senior Accountant job in Mansfield is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established firm, further developing your skill-set by learning from an experienced team.
Job Purpose
• Provide a full suite of accountancy support to a varied client portfolio.
• Preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns.
• Preparation of corporate tax computations, as well as a small focus on personal tax.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Manage work-flow and ensure client expectations and deadlines are being met.
• Support with general accountancy services and business advice.
• Build trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Promote and strive for customer service excellence.
• Support the firm’s growth by identifying new service lines for clients.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements
• Good knowledge across accountancy systems.
• Sound commercial understanding.
• Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and advisory skills.
• A proactive problem-solver.
• Highly organised with good attention to detail.
• A team player able to bring out the best in others.
