SEND Teacher

Colmore Education are currently looking for an experienced SEND teacher to start in a school in the Sutton Coldfield area. The successful candidate will be supporting children with complex and multiple needs. Children may have additional needs like visual and hearing impairment, as well as behaviour difficulties.

You will be working with Learning support staff in the class, making sure that the needs of the children in the class are met. You will be carrying out lessons making sure that all children’s needs are met.

Key responsibilities:

-          Support children with complex and multiple needs

-          Be prepared to do personal care

-          Have a calm and caring nature

-          Have a good understanding of the needs of children

Required skills and experience:

-          Ideally have team teach training

-          Experience teaching within a SEND school
