A Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced SEND Key Worker/Case Worker to join their SEND service to provide support to service users with SEND as well as their Families

Highlights:

• Develop Statutory experience within a Local Authority that offers a comprehensive SEND service to service users and their families
• This is a well resourced Local Authority where you will have access to a range of resources within the region to help support with your case load and ultimately provide more specialist support to service users.
• The Local Authority has achieved a Good Ofsted following their last inspection
• You will be joining a largely stable service and staff turnover is lower than the average for the region reducing the risk of disruption to your case load
• You will have the opportunity to work from home

This is an excellent opportunity for those candidates who are keen to develop statutory experience within a SEND service. You will be joining a largely stable service that is very well resourced so you will be able to access a range of services in the region to help support service users and their families. The Local Authority had achieved a Good Ofsted following its last inspection highlighting the positive level of practice and effectiveness of its services.

The SEND service uses a multi disciplinary approach to provide a more holistic service using the specialist knowledge from a range of disciplines to ensure service users receive the most effective support, As a SEND Key Worker you will be doing direct work with service users and helping them to access a range of services.
