SEND Improvement Lead - Chichester

Location: Chichester - Required to be present in West Sussex 3 days per week, dependant on meetings etc.

Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Pay Rate: £550 - £650 per day Ltd.

West Sussex County Council are looking for a SEND Improvement Lead to join their team in Chichester on an interim basis. The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of SEND at a senior leadership level, preferably within a local authority.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SEND Improvement Programme
  • Ensure that the SEND Improvement Programme is delivered on time and within budget
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure that the SEND Improvement Programme is aligned with the company's objectives and priorities

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the DfE SEND & AP Change Programme and the DfE Delivering Better Value Framework
  • Experience of leading SEND improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex data
