SEN Teaching Assistant 
Wonderful Birmingham Special School requires an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1-2-1 and whole class support for Key Stage 4 students whose primary diagnosis is Autism. This welcoming school provides an outstanding education for young people with special educational needs and requires an SEN Teaching Assistant who can build relationships with young people with additional needs and has precious experience supporting children with Autism. This role is an ongoing role where you will be working in a class of Key Stage 4 children and will be required to work on both a 1-2-1 and hole class basis. You will be joining an experienced class teacher, assisting them in supporting the needs of students and delivering nurturing, engaging lessons.

Job Role:
  • Supporting on a whole class or 1-2-1 basis for students with a range of special educational needs and barriers to learning.
  • Having a good understanding of a range of special educational needs.
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant.
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils.
  • Making learning fun and engaging for pupils with special educational needs.
