Position: SEN Teacher
Class: Primary, Secondary or PMLD
Location: Huntingdon / Godmanchester / March
Contract: Full-time or Part-time
Start Date: May Half Term / Sept 2024

- Aims to develop pupils academically, socially and emotionally
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Lessons: Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, adjust teaching strategies, and provide timely feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Inclusion: Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Advocacy: Advocate for students’ needs within the school community and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role (Mandatory)
- Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
- Passion: A genuine passion for making a positive impact on students’ lives.
- Candidates with prior experience as HLTA in SEN School can apply for the position too.
