SEN TA in Barnet!

Are you a passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential?

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN TA to join Primary schools in Barnet.

Details of the Mainstream SEN TA role:

  • Positions available on a Full/ Part time basis
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably within a primary school setting
  • Situated in Barnet, London
  • Rates of Pay: £80 - 110 per day
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in their learning and development.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in children's lives.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of SEN students.

We are looking for proactive and caring SEN TA to work closely with our students, teachers, and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). The role involves providing one-to-one or small group support to children with various SEN needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
