Semi-Senior Accountant

Abacus Consulting are delighted to be the recruitment partner for a well-established accountancy practice in Luton.

As a result of continued growth, and to support the needs of the business, they have a need for a Semi-Senior to join the team.

Varied role, could be all round accounts or more on the audit side depending on the experience of the candidate, so your role as Semi Senior will include a number of the following elements:

• Bookkeeping
• VAT return preparations, submissions and reviews
• Personal tax return preparation and submissions
• Year-end accounts preparation and submissions
• Corresponding with clients via email and on the telephone
• Management account preparation and audits

To be considered for this role candidates must have some UK practice experience, ideally 2-3 years+ and be able to demonstrate development and progression. Candidates with either audit, all round accounts, or a mix of the two, are welcome to apply.
