Accounts Semi Senior

We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join our dynamic team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including Accounts, VAT, and Management accounts. The ideal candidate will have the ability and motivation to take ownership of client engagements with support from managers, deliver high-quality accounts preparation and corporation tax services, and develop enduring client relationships.

Day to day of the role:
  • Taking initial ownership of client engagements with managerial support.
  • Delivering high-quality accounts preparation and corporation tax services.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Completing basic audit reconciliations and assisting managers with simple audit tasks.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements from client data and identifying high-level risk areas or concerns.
  • Understanding and reviewing VAT returns, as well as submitting them.
  • Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts, eventually preparing them monthly or quarterly independently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • ACA/ACCA or equivalent part-qualified with two years of experience in accounting.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP/FR102.
  • Familiarity with Xero, CCH, QuickBooks, Sage, and Dext.
