Semi-Senior Accountant

Semi-Senior Accountant required. My client is a dynamic and growing accountancy practice dedicated to providing exceptional financial services to our diverse clientele. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Semi-Senior Accountant to join our team to assist/support the Senior Manager and Clients Managers in managing a portfolio of clients.

Semi-Senior Accountant Position Overview

• Assist/support the Senior Manager and Client Managers in managing a portfolio of clients
• Assist with managing the filing deadlines for year end accounts and corporation tax returns (CT600's) for your own pool of clients and wider portfolio clients
• Ensure all client documents are received in time for work to be completed in line with deadlines
• Supervise a team of less-experienced Client Accountants and assist with any training
• Build a successful rapport with your clients
• Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation for clients in your portfolio
• Prepare year end accounts, financial statements and company, partnership and individual tax computations for your client portfolio
• Prepare management accounts for your client portfolio

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years working in an accountancy practice and will be AAT or ACCA part-qualified.

Semi-Senior Accountant Position Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years' experience working in a practice environment
• Ideal candidate will be AAT or ACCA part-qualified
• Experience with applications such as TaxCalc, Hubdoc, IRIS Practice Suite, Sage Software and certain cloud-based accounting softwares

Semi-Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

• £20,000-£30,000 (depending on experience)
• 25 days annual leave (including three days office shutdown for Christmas and New Year)
