Semi Senior Accountant

The Company

Our client is a firm based in Croydon. They service a range of clients from various sectors. Offering accounts preparation, audit, company structure and tax advice. They are currently recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant due to a growth in business.

The Role

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Prepare Management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Prepare/ vat returns and submit to HMRC
• Oversee junior members of staff
• Prepare personal and corporation tax
• Liaise with clients and handle queries
• Opportunity to have exposure within Audit

The Candidate

• At least three years working in practice
• ACCA or ACA part-qualified
• Able to prepare financial and management accounts
• Able to prepare and submit VAT returns
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of using Sage, IRIS, and Quickbooks
