SPE Connect are looking for a Self-Employed Manager to run a wet only sports pub in Tunbridge Wells.

The pub currently takes a healthy £6,000 per week but has the potential to take up to £8,000 which means more money for the Self Employed Manager who wants to drive the business forward.

This is the ideal first pub opportunity with a 2 bed flat upstairs in the lovely Tunbridge Wells.

This pub doesn't do food which is great to only have a focus on wet only sales in this small 70 people capacity pub. The pub is ideally located next to town and where commuters would frequent. There is a diverse crowd of people coming in, with loyal older generation in the day and a younger crowd on the weekend with commuters in and out. Room upstairs for darts and pool.

It's an easy pub to manage and run with experience.

What's in it for you

• 18% share of weekly net sales, excluding VAT
• Low ingoing costs, starting with just a £500 deposit and £360 legal cost
• Live rent free in accommodation upstairs (2 bed flat) included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License
• All of your stock, including food, and all associated consumables are supplied by although you will be responsible for managing it once it has been delivered
• A dedicated Area Manager supporting you to help you grow the business
• Sales bonus up to £2,000 per quarter
• 10% profit from fruit machines per quarter
• Get profit share every 6 months (10%) based on above previous profit
• All insurances, security and door staff paid for

Who we're looking for:

• An Assistant Manager looking for their first pub or a seasoned operator that is happy for a smaller pub OR an entrepreneur looking for their first pub - all of this is not essential but would be desirable
• Love and passion for the local community pub
• Great work ethic as this is a lifestyle choice
• Must have a valid personal licence in your name or in the process of obtaining one
• DBS checked or in process
• No bankruptcy or CCJ's over £5000 on credit report
• £500 deposit available
• Must live on site
