Title – Security Officer

Pay Rate – £12.91ph

Location – Carlisle, CA2

Shift Timings – 12-hour shift on days and nights Monday to Sunday. 8-hour shifts on days Monday and Friday.

You will be working in a distribution centre for a well-known company, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike. As a security officer based in distribution, you will be required to ensure the site is kept secure, only allowing authorised personnel to enter the premises/grounds. A level of customer service is also required, through meet and greet.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the site.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations.
• Work in extremely busy gatehouse dealing with drivers from all over the world.
• recording visitors, operating weighbridge, booking vehicles & visitors in etc.
• Flexible to meet the needs of the business

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
• Computer Literate - Duties in gatehouse are 95% computer based
