Security Engineer

Security Engineer required. Our client has been providing buildings support to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector clients for over 40 years.

Successful candidates will repair, install and maintain Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Warden Call, Communal Aerial and CCTV equipment.

Security Engineer Position Overview

• Service and install a range of Door Entry, Warden Call, Automatic Door / Gate systems, CCTV systems (including IP/Networked), and Intruder Alarms
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance to the above systems
• To ensure that all aspects of Access Control/CCTV work including test and inspections/ compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current British Standards
• To report on a daily basis to supervisor/manager on the status of all works within the Department and advise in good time, problems of time-scale or resources
• Any other duties as reasonably requested

Security Engineer Position Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in a similar position
• Have a background in social housing/local authority maintenance
• Have a valid CSCS card
• Preferably have experience with at least one or more of the following manufacturers: ISM, GDX, ENTROTEC, SML, PAC, KMS, RECRD, GEZE, GALAXY, TEXECOM. Although training will be given

Security Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £29,000- £40,000
• Overtime and out of hours call out
• Holiday Package: 21 days + 8BH (increasing after 2 years of service)
