Network IT is currently partnering with a client who are undergoing a huge amount of transformational activity in their Information and Cyber Security space, with a programme of work pencilled to last around 3-5 years.

The core goal of the programme is to modernise the business’s approach to security, and as such drive transformation through technology, with Microsoft products at the forefront of this activity.

Our client is looking for a Security Consultant with expertise in Microsoft 365 to join the workstream, and operate in an SME capacity, supporting the existing programme team made up of architects, engineers and security leadership. In this role you will be providing advice and guidance about best practice, working with stakeholders as a trusted advisor to help the team drive projects forwards with confidence from the business.

Knowledge of Microsoft related security is key to success here, as our client moves to utilise technology such as Azure, Defender, M365 to transform their approach to Security.

Role: Security Consultant – M365
Duration: 6 months
Location: Central London or Manchester 
Working Practice: Hybrid 

Key Skills:
  • M365 Security Expertise
  • Azure Cloud Security knowledge – Identity, security and compliance
  • Azure DevOps / Azure IaaS / Cloud GRC
  • Associated MS products such as Defender / Sentinel
  • Comfortable working in an SME capacity, sitting between Architects, Engineers and Stakeholders
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST / ISO / GDPR
