We are working with a public sector client based in Blackburn who have an exciting new opportunity for someone experienced in Security.

Due to rapid growth within the department and plans to introduce new technologies in the future to their infrastructure they are keen to expand their Security Team with a talented individual who has technical qualifications and certification in relevant areas or equivalent operational experience.

This is a great opportunity to work in a department who invests in their staff through training and focuses on horizontal and vertical integration through internal recruitment opportunities.

Security Analyst - £40,000

Job Description:

  • Assist the creation of Cyber Security posture
  • Support Engineers in security system deployment
  • Complete cyber security control
  • Undertake threat monitoring and reporting
  • Operate vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
  • Understanding of Information Security control standards and frameworks e.g. ISO27001, NIST, PCI DSS
