Salary: within Implement A: £39,000 to £45,000

Silver Shell Consultancy is a leading change transformation and IT consultancy, distinguished for our expertise in driving transformative change across diverse industries. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Scrum Master and Data Scientist, playing a pivotal role in fostering agility, collaboration, and data-driven insights within our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a facilitator for the Scrum team, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.

  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to prioritise and deliver high-value features.

  • Organise and lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Remove impediments and obstacles to the team's progress, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum practices, promoting a high-performance mindset.

  • Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, ensuring effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

  • Work closely with product owners to refine and prioritise the product backlog.



Data Scientist Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and objectives.

  • Design and implement data models, databases, and reporting systems to support project needs.

  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to facilitate decision-making.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through proper data governance practices.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven strategies within projects.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics.



Qualifications:

Scrum Master Qualifications:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in IT or consultancy projects.

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.



Data Scientist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree / MSc in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, database management, and statistical analysis.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Effective communication of complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

The successful candidate should analyse existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to align Scrum practices and data analytics with broader business objectives.
