Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity to join a successful secondary school in Warrington?
We are seeking an exceptional individual to cover a planned absence within one of our client secondary schools in Warrington, full-time until July 2024 initially.
You'll be a part of a school that ensure their students receive the highest quality, inclusive teaching of a broad curriculum. Staff are supported and receive professional growth and development opportunities.
As a Science Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and promoting an atmosphere of learning and discovery within the classroom. You will be expected to teach and provide a foundation for further exploration of scientific concepts across key stages 3 and 4.
Your duties will include lesson planning, classroom management, assessing pupils' progress and motivating students' to reach their full potential whilst collaborating with other members of the department.
The successful Science Teacher will need to have:
- A proven track record of teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- To hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics (cost applied)
