Science Teacher with SEN Experience - Middlesbrough

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join a vibrant school in Middlesbrough. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to making a difference in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with SEN, tailoring instruction to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with SENCO and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to SEN education.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and interventions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd) with QTS.
  • Proven experience teaching science in a secondary school environment.
  • Experience working with SEN students and a solid understanding of SEN strategies and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
