Job Role: School Reintegration Officer.

Location: Redbridge.

Contract: Permanent.

Working Hours: Monday-to-Friday, 44 weeks of the year, 32.5hours per week.

Salary: £30,033 FTE (£23,296.28 pro-rata amount)

Start Date: ASAP.

Job Role & Client Information:

Our client is a large, 11-19, Outstanding, inclusive secondary school based in Redbridge, East London. They are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised, and creative person to help manage the day-to-day running of the Respite & Reintegration (R&R) department.

The R&R Department helps to support students who have been internally excluded and the role will include mentoring, monitoring, and supporting the students both academically and in their personal development.

The post holder will ensure a cohesive and personalised programme of learning activities for students. This will involve incorporating a range of subjects as well as individual mentoring into a cross curricular programme for pupils and the provision of high-quality professional services,

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will ensure that a cohesive and personalised program of learning is in place for each student.

The role would suit someone who has experience of working as a mentor, youth mentor or previous experience working either as a Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with challenging behaviour. A degree is desirable but not essential.

The main skills are an empathy, passion and patience to work with students who may be struggling either academically or personally.
